Our challenges are divided into what we consider as the 10 essential areas of life and we call it

“The Wheel of A Hero”

Those essential areas are:

1. Business / Career / Mission: What do you do with your time to make money?

2. Finances and Wealth: Managing and growing your money

3. Friends and Family: Important platonic relationships.

4. Health, Fitness & Energy: Exercise and nutrition.

5. Love Life: Significant other.

6. Emotional Health, Meaning & Mindset: Feelings and purpose.

7. Physical Environment / House / Location: Your physical location i.e. your house, city, state, country, and environment in that location.

8. Mastery of Time / Productivity & Performance: Manages your time and focus.

9. Fun & Excitement: What excites you in life?

10. Consistent Growth: If you don’t grow you die.

Game Modes

So, how does it work?

When joining the Biz Heroes, you will be evaluating all of those areas of your life frequently in order to decide which area to work on and which challenges to choose from our Hero Journey Board.

We have over 150 listed challenges you can choose from. Each of them is 30 days of habit-building or removing challenges and is designed to improve all of the areas of the Hero Wheel.

30 days is just about the right amount of time to add or to remove a habit from your life, like watching the news or reading 30 minutes before going to bed instead of playing on your phone.

Amongst many others, some benefits of taking part in these challenges are; your self-confidence grows, you will feel more empowered, you will be more likely to achieve your dreams, you will become healthier and more adventurous in the process and you may find more happiness.

Oh, and yes, we do ‘Get Shit Done’ challenges as well which are also 30-day content creation challenges for your Youtube channel, your podcast, your blog and so on.

But most importantly you are training your will power muscle. A strong will power stands behind any success story and helps you to get through the obstacles life throws at you and surpass these useless people along your way who tell you “Ah you can’t do that’!

– Uuuh, who doesn’t want that?

Focus

If you take part in these challenges AND finish them, you will reach these above-listed results, no matter what. I know, it may be a little hard to believe right now. Most challenges are based on neuroscience, you are a human and things will happen in your body, naturally. 🙂

Those challenges keep your will power muscle going and create new motivation each day. It makes your month much more colorful. How many months go by and you can’t even remember any highlight? Embarking on a challenge keeps you focused and in the now, which is also known as the ultimate happiness.

Accountability

You could do those challenges by yourself and all that, however, you are not being held accountable, there is nothing at stake and it’s easy to fall off the bandwagon. If you are being held accountable by other people, there is a lot more at stake and you are more likely to follow through.

Before starting a challenge, you can choose a fellow Hero, so you can hold each other accountable during your challenge. It’s not only a fun way to get to know the community, but research studies have also shown that publicly committing your goals to someone gives you at least a 65% chance of completing them. However, having a specific accountability partner increases your chance of success to 95%.

Success is a series of habits. The whole purpose of us having a habit is the instinct of survival what kicks in – we do what we know and what we consider as ‘safe’, that’s why it’s so hard to get out of any habit. Our brain has exactly this purpose.

The thing is if you always stay in your comfort zone you don’t grow. And anything you want in your life is outside of your comfort zone. If it wasn’t you would already have it.

Take Off

For a rocket to get into space it takes 80% of its energy to get even off the ground, to get that first step started. The rest is needed to be in space but really the most energy it needs is for the takeoff. Woooowzer I know! So it takes a lot of effort to get into a new habit the first 21 days, and after that, it becomes a habit, you don’t have to think about it anymore it happens automatically. It’s then part of your life, it’s habitual. So get past 21 days and then it’s easy. After that, it takes more willpower NOT to do the challenge.

If you want anything badly enough, you can do ANYTHING in 30 days, even writing a book. It happens every November of each year. The key here is to set SMART goals.

Here, we start off with some smaller challenges as they are more likely to stick. We will do some big crazy challenges all together once a year, for example, attending a self-defense camp in Bali, attending a Desert Island Survival Camp (on a tropical island *surprise* *surprise*), climbing huge mountains in different countries or going scuba diving at night. Doing crazy mentally and physically challenging activities together enhances the team spirit and gives the community the opportunity to bond with each other FOR LIFE.

To be able to attend these ‘bigger’ events each year, you must have fulfilled at least 8 ‘mini’ challenges listed in this platform by yourself (and be a VIH, aka Very Important Hero member). Don’t worry, they are all very achievable, but they will still stretch you. You just need to commit to it!

For each challenge you will finish, you will collect points. The person at the end of the year who has the most points wins a price out of our ‘Member’s Benefits Box’. Woohoo!

So, what are you waiting for, are you ready to challenge a hero?
